We have been vacationing in this area for over 20 years and fell in love with it the very first trip in 1990. Honestly, WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE? - VACATION IN AT THE GULF OF MEXICO!!

Having been to beaches all over the U.S. and the Caribbean, we have never seen the sugar white sand that is on our beaches. This area has never lost the magical feel we get every time we vacation here. We love the laid back attitude and southern hospitality of the locals. A pair of flip flops and shorts and you are good to go!

The beach, bay fishing, boating, parasailing, kayaking, sailing, dolphin sightings, biking, shelling, sunsets and did I mention - seafood! We have it all: grouper, snapper, oysters, crawfish, shrimp, tuna, crab, and a wide assortment of restaurants to have it prepared any way you like. The restaurant choices are superb from Bushwackers and Garbage Nachos at Tacky Jacks to Shrimp and Grits at Fisherman's Corner!

After dinner, the nightlife options are endless. The condo is just a short drive to the world-renowned Florabama Roadhouse, which has been in the same location on the Alabama Florida line since the 60's. It is live music, honky-tonk style! Multiples stages offer a variety of music choices and make it a must-see on your vacation.

For the family oriented, the area has much to offer from Waterville Water Park, Miniature Gold, Arcades, Dolphin Cruises, Crabbing, Gulf Shores Zoo, Alligator Farm, Blue Angels practice, The Hangout for Pirates Breakfast, and much more!! For the golf enthusiasts, there are over 10 courses in the area. For shoppers, there is the Tanger Outlet Mall, The Wharf, and San Roc Cay.

Gambling is within 2 hours in Biloxi, MS. Both Pensacola and Mobile are within an hours drive. Sights to see and do include Historic Fort Morgan, Ferry to Dauphin Island, Hugh Branyon Bike and Walking Trail, Concerts at the Wharf, Rave Movie Theater, various Day Spas, and lots of specialty shops and boutiques!

We like this area so well that after 20 years we realized our dream and were able to purchase our condo at The Grand Caribbean. It only took us another 5 years to make the move more permanent and purchased a home here. All of our friends that visit here just love the area and come back year after year. We tell them to keep our paradise a secret!

The Grand Caribbean #119 is in a new condo complex, built in 2003. We are located directly across the street from the Orange Beach Public Access with new restrooms, showers, and lifeguards on duty. On the backside of the condo is Cotton Bayou and the Orange Beach public boat launch. You can watch boats coming in and out from the balcony with table and chairs or view the beachside.

Our unit, which has had some recent renovations, is on the first floor, so no waiting for elevators! The complex is beautifully landscaped with a BBQ area and picnic tables under a gazebo. There is a large pool with new chairs and tables and a covered lanai for shade, if desired. Our unit comes with a covered parking space in the garage or there is plenty of parking in the large lot. From September to May, we have designated boat parking. There is an unloading area with luggage carts that make check-in and out a breeze.

Just inside the front door you will find a tropical décor with all the comforts of home. In the living area we have a queen sleeper sofa, stereo, satellite TV with DVD/VCR player, a full size dining table, and stools at the snack bar. There is a full size washer/dryer with all laundry products provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with icemaker, smooth top stove, garbage disposal and all small appliances and utensils for your cooking needs. We provide all kitchen detergents and paper products, including napkins, paper towels, and garbage bags. There is a twin bed in the hall and a bathroom with all paper products (toilet paper, kleenex, and soap) supplied. The bedroom features a new queen bed and satellite TV with VCR. There are two ceiling fans located in the living room and bedroom. There is internet available at an extra charge. We offer ease of check-in and out with a lockbox outside of front door.
